following sources: Information you provide to us on applications or other forms
and other means; Information from your transactions and account experience with
us or others; Information may be received from a consumer credit reporting
agency; and Information from other outside sources regarding their credit or
other relationship with you or verifying representations made by you.
Sharing Information
From time to time, we may share information about your relationship
with National Home Centers with outside companies. However, we limit who
receives information and what type of information is shared. Any information
shared is in compliance with the UCC, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
and the Credit Reporting Act.
Disclosures To Companies That Work For Us
We may disclose information that we collect about you as described above to
outside companies that work for us as needed to service your account. These
companies may include data processing companies and payment processing
companies, and they may assist us with, for example, mailing account
statements. These entities act on our behalf and use the information only to
provide the services we’ve asked them to perform.
Other Disclosures
We may also disclose information that we collect about you as
described above to outside entities when necessary in connection with a
transaction that you request or authorize, to comply with subpoenas and court
orders, or when otherwise required or permitted by law. For example, if you
list National Home Centers as a credit reference on a credit application with
another company, we may provide information as authorized by applicable state
and federal laws to that company.
Keeping Information Secure
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to
those who need to know that information to provide financial products or
services to you.
We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that
comply with state and federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal
information.
Former Customers The above privacy policies and
practices with respect to the disclosure of personal information relating to
former customers are the same as those for existing customers, except that, as
such information gets older, it is used less and may eventually be purged from
our records.
